Every passenger has their own favorite airline to fly with. Usually, they would pick the best one for them based on the service provided to them, the price of the tickets, the meals offered in-flight, the entertainment system, and more.
This is taken advantage of by the airlines to assess how satisfied their customers are with the airline company’s performance, which is why awarding bodies decided to recognize the best airlines every year. If you could remember, we have shared the Top 10 Airlines for 2015 in a previous post. So, as an update, we’ve followed Skytrax to see which ones made it to the top this year!
World’s Best Airlines
If an airline company makes it to the list, it means that many passengers think of them highly in terms of their overall performance. Given that there are a lot of airlines in the world, it is truly an honor to be a part of such recognition, which is why every airline strives to provide an efficient service to every passenger.
The results of the travelers’ votes were announced at the World Airline Awards, which was held at The Langham Hotel in London the last 17th of July 2018. The prestigious event was attended by airline leaders and top airline management around the world.
So, without further ado, here are the Top 10 Airlines for 2018!
- Singapore Airlines
Aside from being on the list, this company was also recognized as the World’s Best Airline of the year! We’re pretty sure that this made the aspiring flight attendants to try applying at the company, so you’d better take another look at Singapore Airlines’ requirements for cabin crews!
- Qatar Airways
- ANA All Nippon Airways
- Emirates
- EVA Air
- Cathay Pacific Airways
- Lufthansa
- Hainan Airlines
- Garuda Indonesia
- Thai Airways
For the airlines that didn’t make it on the list, not being a part of the Top 10 doesn’t mean that an airline is ranked at the bottom. It is merely an implication that the airline should make more efforts to improve their service, including their website and facilities. After all, there’s always a room for improvement, right?
And besides, it’s not really a matter of who gets the award, but rather, why they got the award!
