The newly hired flight attendants of SWOOP airline are required to purchase the following set of uniform items listed below. They may opt to choose one among the two sets of uniform items:

• choice of one (1) dress and two (2) pairs of pants or three (3) pairs of pants

• One (1) grey sweater
• One (1) magenta skinny belt
• One (1) metal FA brevet with a name
• One (1) magenta scarf
• One (1) grey lanyard
• One (1) black bib apron
• One (1) black bonded jacket
• One (1) black winter parka

Presentation and Grooming Policy

Maintaining a professional image and presentable appearance is crucial for creating positive feedback and strengthening passenger trust. To make a good first impression on passengers, flight attendants are urged to adhere to presentation and grooming guidelines.

• Flight attendants, both male and female, should comb their hair properly and maintain clean, neat-looking hair. It is also important that they maintain their natural hair color. Applying contrasting hair colors is not allowed, especially if they are still working for the airline company. Formal haircuts should be observed, especially for male flight attendants, which can be polished with hair wax, while female flight attendants’ hair that exceeds shoulder level should be tied using simple hair accessories, whose color should be similar to the FA’s hair color. They can also use moisturizer for neat-looking hair.
• It is also important for the flight attendant to maintain a calm demeanor in every emergency and perform the necessary measures as soon as the order is raised. Aside from that, they should be confident in every action that they take.
• The worn uniform of the flight attendant should be wrinkle-free and clean. It should be neat and nice looking. They are also obliged to maintain the good condition of their piece of clothing in which it should perfectly fit their comfort.
• Hands must be clean all the time wherein proper hand washing should be regularly done. They can also apply hand sanitizer or alcohol for disinfection.
• Fingernails must be well-trimmed and manicured. They can use a nude and transparent polish color, but female flight attendants should avoid putting on removable nail extensions because they might get damaged and fall off upon rendering service to their passengers.
• Female flight attendants can wear make-up and other facial cosmetics, but it should be minimal make-up that complements the skin color of the flight attendant.

Important Notes to Remember

• The company will give each flight attendant one roller bag and one lunch bag for free.
• The airline company has the right to create or change the style, color, or pieces of the flight attendant’s current uniform.
• If the company has an immediate implementation of a new uniform piece, they will be giving the flight attendant a new uniform piece; however, if the said piece of clothing is not mandatory to utilize, the company will not cover the costs of the new uniform pieces.
• The company will pay half of the uniform price for the newly hired active flight attendant.
• If the flight attendant has under 6 months of service and terminates employment, they are obliged to return the said company uniform provided by Swoop Airlines, unless they have completed or exceeded the 6 months of service.
• If the flight attendant is pregnant, she can request a maternity uniform that can be returned before their maternity leave.
