List of Requirements and Qualifications to Become a Firefly Cabin Crew

  • You must be at least High School Graduate.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Willing to undergo a background check.
  • Must follow Firefly’s uniform standards.
  • You must be willing to submit medical test results.
  • You must be well-groomed and portray a decent look.
  • Must be physically and mentally stable.
  • Flight Attendants are required to undergo a drug test, and you should be willing to do it every time it is needed.
  • No eyeglasses.
  • No visible tattoos.
  • You must be able to serve food and beverages.
  • To handle stressful and emergency situations, you need to be patient.
  • You must be able to swim.

You must be able to:

  • Demonstrate emergency equipment.
  • Conduct preflight inspections.
  • Demonstrate how to use safety equipment during the flight.
  • Ensure that all passengers wear their seatbelts and that all other safety precautions are followed.
  • Serve and sell drinks, meals, and snacks.
  • Take care of the needs of passengers, especially those with special needs.
  • Provide passengers with instructions, including how to escape the aircraft in an emergency.
  • Reassure passengers during the journey, especially when the plane encounters turbulence.
  • As needed, administer and organize emergency medical care.

Step 4: Make sure to send all the necessary documents for your application. The recruitment team will send you a notification through call or email once you were shortlisted. The last and final stage before becoming a flight attendant for Firefly is to complete the training program. You will be asked to join the program once you passed all stages of the recruitment process.

Salary and Benefits

In Malaysia, the expected total pay for a Cabin Crew is MYR 8,010 per month, with an average wage of MYR 1,800 per month. These figures indicate the median, which is the middle of the salary ranges calculated by our proprietary Total Pay Estimate methodology and based on wages submitted by users. The extra salary is projected to be MYR 6,210 per month. Additional compensation may include a monetary incentive, a commission, tips, profit sharing and other perks.
