You must know how to deal with health emergencies of passengers, as well as life and death situations during flight.

2. Can I refuse to get trained if I already have prior experience in the same field?

No. Everyone will undergo training, and you need to pass it before you can get the job.

3. What should be the physical appearance of a Flight Attendant?

  • You need to have a healthy skin
  • No visible scars or tattoos in uniform
  • There are no teeth braces or other accessories
  • Weight and height must be proportionate
  • Neat and Decent
  • Wear decent makeup
  • Follow the rules and regulations of the airline regarding their uniform and standard looks.

4. Why do airlines require specific minimum height for Flight Attendants?

If you would notice every airline has its standard requirement when it comes to height. This is for a reason that cabin crews must be able to reach overhead compartments where safety equipment and luggage are placed.

5. I’m turning 18 years old in 5 months, can I apply now?

There is a specified minimum age for applicants because of legal or regulatory constraints. Therefore, the airline cannot accept applicants below 18 years old.

6. Why do Flight Attendants need to be Multilingual?

Even if a consumer speaks another language fluently, they prefer to have their customer interactions in their own language. A flight attendant serves as an in-flight customer service representative, among other duties. Second, aspiring FAs who are multilingual are more likely to get hired by airlines for overseas flights. That is where they are paid more.
